Our Thoughts:
Measuring 40 mm in diameter, the No.7.5’s case is a work of art. With an interplay of straight graining and sandblasted finishes, its carefully crafted lines and curves create different visual effects depending on how the light hits it. The case is made from durable SUS316L stainless steel, and the use of sapphire crystal which is both for the main glass and the custom fisheye lens, ensures exceptional clarity and scratch resistance. These modern upgrades, introduced in the 2023 version, enhance both durability and aesthetics, making the No.7.5 a robust yet elegant timepiece.
For collectors, the Otsuka Lotec No.7.5 is a celebration of individuality and innovation. Its bold jumping hour complication, combined with its turret-style design, offers a fresh and unconventional take on timekeeping. With rare production and Katayama’s meticulous attention to detail, the No.7.5 is a true testament to the artistry of Japanese independent watchmaking.
