Condition:
The watch is in fantastic condition with normal signs of wear. The bezel have normal hairlines scratches and no major dents with the lugs in similar condition. The dial appears to be in pristine condition with no signs of damage and hands are in perfect condition as well. Watch is running is normal working order.
Our Thoughts:
Most people might have seen the Chronometre Bleu more frequently online or amongst collectors, along with the Chronometre Bleu, this watch carries the traditions of a F.P. Journe but added a bit more youthfulness and excitement with the use of colour and textures. The rose gold case and rose gold movement creates a cohesive theme and the Havana dial is paired with white hands and details which brilliantly breaks up the brown-ish tones of the case and dial making this watch that little bit more exciting. The brand never like to settle for a simple solution where the dial is not simply a product of a lacquered finishing or a type of pigment, it is a combination of gold and ruthenium resulting in a brown tone that glistens under sunlight.
There are simply not many other brands that produces a watch quite like this one, aesthetically elegant and effortless, its got all the ingredients of a great F.P. Journe watch all whilst demonstration how finer details can change the look and feel of a watch.
