This Daniel Roth Tourbillon Double Face C187 from the early 1990s exemplifies why collectors seek out these exceptional timepieces. While later models often featured guilloché pinstripe dials, this piece is adorned with a rare and breathtaking Clous-de-Paris dial, capturing a stunning rainbow effect as it catches the light.
Originally crafted for a limited series of 25 pieces for Asprey London, most dials were produced in full white gold or grey gold. However, this particular watch stands apart with its unique custom dial, featuring the two scrolls Daniel Roth and Numero in yellow gold, creating a striking contrast against the white gold Clous-de-Paris dial. To the best of our knowledge and after consulting with seasoned Daniel Roth collectors, this two-tone tourbillon appears to be one of a kind.
