The watch is in great condition 8.5/10. The watch has been worn regularly and this can be seen through hairline scratches throughout the case and bracelet. The dial remains in excellent condition and has developed a warm cream hue over time, complementing the aging on the case and bracelet.
Our Thoughts:
One of the most appealing aspects of this particular Santos Octagon is its rarity. The factory diamond-set configuration gives the watch a completely different character from the more familiar Roman numeral variants, offering a subtle touch of luxury. It is a reminder that the maison has long blurred the line between fine watchmaking and jewellery design.
Equally fascinating is the subtle iridescent colouring that has developed across sections of the case and bracelet over time.
