Condition:
The watch is in 9.5/10 in excellent condition where it maintains its original shape and design. The bracelet have little to no stretch and dial has a slight creamy patina but in excellent overall condition. The watch comes with the original warranty certificate dated year 1997 along with the original box as well.
Our Thoughts:
Cartier have always been a favourite amongst vintage watch collectors and the Santos Galbee is almost a staple for collecting Cartier watches. A design driven brand, the focus is on the aesthetics of the watch where although this particular piece is the quartz version, it allows the watch to be even slimmer than its automatic variant which adds to the overall sleekness of the design. The subtle blue fonts on the dial really completes the vintage look and gives it a good balance between elegance and sportiness.
There are many variations in sizing for the Santos Galbee, but for us the LM size is perfectly versatile for both men and women and allows good readability compared to some of the smaller sizes.
