The watch is in fantastic condition with normal signs of wear. The bezel have normal hairlines scratches and no major dents with the lugs in similar condition. The case and bezel appears to be gently polished but remains full and sharp. The dial appears to be in pristine condition with slight signs of patina and hands are in perfect condition as well. Overall condition of the bracelet is still tight with slight stretch. Watch is running is normal working order.
Our Thoughts:
We are all familiar with the Royal Oak, but for those wh oare more into their modern timepieces might not have seen this type of dial configuration that was made popular in the 1990s where Audemars Piguet applied the same dual-time configuration for their dress watches and sports watches with plenty of practicality of a simple two time zone complication with date.
Adding to the neo-vintage theme, this 25730BA is produced in a slightly smaller case at 36mm which we absolutely love. Given the way Royal Oaks are designed, it can wear a bit large on the wrist with the extended and angular lugs, this 36mm piece wears a bit more like a 38mm watch. The cream dial is a gently touch that is the perfect match for the full yellow gold case and it is definitely one of the models that flies under the radar but is an absolute neo-vintage gem.
