The 15202ST was launched in 2000 as a tribute to the original Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo 5402ST, with its extra-thin case and most importantly the 39mm case size designed by Mr Gerald Genta. Where the main difference lies is the modern iteration of the Jumbo is the open caseback design to display the hollowed rotor and the movement in all its glory.

The example we have here is the last series of the 15202ST, where the dial configuration is slightly different to the earlier models (prior to 2012) and ofcourse the modernised rotor on the JLC-modified 2121 movement.

Condition:

Watch is in unworn condition 10/10 with 0 signs of wear or use. The links on bracelet have not been previously removed and was kept in new condition. Box condition and all interior box and accessories is in excellent condition with tags as well.

With the rise brand’s rise to popularity in recent years, the Jumbo have quickly became one of the most sought after models given its status as the original “Jumbo” case dimensions and the story of how the legendary deisgner Gerald Genta designed the watch. Regardless of its limited production numbers, there are plenty reasons to fall in love with this luxurious sports watch.

The model is rich in history and perfectly elegant on wrist, the watch have enough wrist presence from its octagonal reflections yet feels so snug on most wrists due to its 8.1mm thickness including the sapphire crystal caseback to display the 2121 movement with the “AP” hollowed rotor.
